On 25 July 2009, with support from Roger Black, the Mayor of Surrey and Chief Superintendent of Surrey Police, Lee Chamberlain achieved a new world record and ran 468.04 miles in seven days whilst raising over £7,000 for charity.
Lee is an ultra runner, specialising in long distance events. In 2004 Lee attempted the 48 hour record for treadmill running and then attempted the 168 hour record in 2007. On 25 July he achieved his latest world record and he did it all wearing kit from Crewroom - Crewroom supplied Lee with Vapour-X running shirts and BooSox for this event.
